- Floor Plan Upstairs Floor Plan Downstairs Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (non-personal services), prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FURNITURE MAY INCLUDE, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO OFFICE FURNITURE, EXECUTIVE FURNITURE, AND CONFERENCE ROOM FURNITURE. THE BUILDING CONSISTS OF TWO FLOORS THAT NEED TO BE FULLY FURNISHED. QUANTITY: WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT PRICE: ****************************************************************************** A mandatory site visit will be required to clarify exact quantities, take measurements and instruct contractors on how each office will be arranged. Along with a price quote each contractor must submit a floor plan detailing the dimensions and where the furniture will be placed for each room. Pictures and specifications of the proposed furniture must also be submitted. The government reserves the right to have the contractor bring samples of the furniture in for viewing. The government will deem what qualifies as "technically acceptable" and will evaluate on what provides the best value to the government. Contractors must adhere to the item descriptions and quantities provided by the government at the site visit, no exceptions will be made. The site visit will be scheduled for Tuesday, 24 August 2010 at 0900 with a common meeting point at the Visitors Center outside of the Spangdahlem AB front gate. NOTE: Shipping and installation costs must be included in the quote along with a separate line stating "FOB Destination". Removal of current furniture is also mandatory if applicable.
