- Recovery- This notice is provided for information purposes only. NASA LaRC issued atask order modification under existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract NNL04AA03B entitled Research Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (ROME) fora Fuel Supply and Purge Systems for the 14x22 Foot Subsonic Wind Tunnel at the NASALangley Research Center. This effort is funded by the American Recovery and ReinvestmentAct (ARRA) of 2009 and is in support of the NASA Aeronautics Test Program (ATP). Subjectmodification was made using a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract type as a cost reimbursablecontract was determined to be the most appropriate considering the complexity, magnitude,high risk, and the unknowns that made it impractical to price as a fixed price contract.The purpose of the modification is to incorporate additional requirements for the powersupply for the vaporizer for the Nitrogen Bottle Trailer, concrete pad for the trailer torest on, protective fence and bollards. The ROME contract NNL04AA03B was awarded on acompetitive basis.
