- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on behalf of Combat Direction Systems Activity intends to procure on a non-competitive basis proprietary hardware and services from Sierra Nevada Corporation, 444 Salomon Cir, Sparks, NV 89434-9651. The purchase order will be Firm-Fixed Price. The hardware and software to be procured was developed by Sierra Nevada Corporation. The hardware and software will be integrated on Government equipment. All items are to be priced FOB Destination to the Combat Direction Systems Activity, Virginia Beach, VA 23461. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423430 with a size standard of 100 employees. Sierra Nevada Corporation is a large business under NAICS 423430. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit proposals to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Code CXS11 Contract Branch, Attn: Linda Wilkes Bldg 183 Rm 102B 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157 Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. The closing date of thesynopsis is August 27, 2010. NSWCDD, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110 has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, the synopsis and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors that are not registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
