- Attached is a copy of the Sole Source Letter for the Bass Violin. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation number is F3Z0360221A001 and is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 effective 8 Jul 10; Defense DCN 20100816 effective 16 Aug 10 (Amended Edition), and AFAC 2010-0402 effective 2 Apr 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339992. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)/Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7710. Travis AFB has a requirement for a base violin. The requirements are as follows: Item # Description Qty Unit 0001-AA Services Non-Personal: Request to purchase a Stoll Dresden 7/8 size Gamba Double Bass Violin, Item #BA242. 1 Ea See attached Sole-Source Letter for further details. Delivery is to Travis AFB, CA 94535 Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
