- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation period and provide clarification on the commissioning process for this generator. This RFQ will now close on August 26, 2010. System Commissioning: The generator manufacturer (Cummins) has provided guidance that any State licensed electrician with experience working with generator systems and switch components may connect the generator switch and systems as part of this contract following local codes and installation instructions provided Cummins. The manufacturer stipulates that a Cummins certified technician must complete the final commissioning process. For this reason, the government will coordinate commissioning of the final system with a Cummins certified technician following the installation and connection of the generator and components as outlined in this solicitation. The commissioning process will be handled as a separate contract action. No other changes will be made to this solicitation.
