Description
The U.S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ in support of Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal is currently seeking qualified sources to provide the following: A modular system that can be reconfigured time after time to graphically and physically support multiple venues as required. The ability to create (3) 10 x 10 displays or (1) 30 x30 or 20 x 20 display(s) from the same system is required. All basic framing must be lightweight (round or square) and have a channel-style construction that lends itself to multiple uses and functions and must be easy to assemble/disassemble. All materials must be considered reliable, durable and known to reflect a professional, high tech, and polished image. Modularity multiple exhibit configurations must be achievable by this single system of modules. Standard heights must be attainable by the system to comply with normal convention center event standards. Back wall modules, counter modules, storage modules, graphics modules; lighting options, media support options, islands, shelves, fabric canopies/rotating marquis(only on 20 x 20 or 20 x 30 or 30 x 30) all must be reconfigurable to support exhibit sizes including: 10 x 10,10 x 20, 20 x 20, 20 x 30,10 x 30, and 30 x 30. Storage Compartments/Modules exhibit system must include at least (2) event storage areas that can accommodate excess literature, standard size posters, supplies, giveaways, etc. Multimedia support exhibit system must be able to support (4) 46 LCD TVs that will include power and wire management and sustain the appropriate weights for LCD TVs within that standard dimension. Additionally, the exhibit system must be able to support or be configured to allow for (4) computer kiosks for interactive uses. Shelving reconfigurable, high quality, durable shelving is required to support static displays with options for variable/multiple heights and multiple lengths. Islands (2) light weight, graphic supportable islands that are sturdy and have the options for different colors and shapes are required. Chairs (6) chairs to include (4) standard height and (2) high-table chairs are to be provided in colors and designs that match the exhibit. Literature Racks and Giveaway Bins (12) matching literature racks are to be provided and (3) giveaway bins of various sizes. Lighting: Multiple lighting options are requested to support multiple configurations with a preference placed upon LED lighting options. All lights must meet current fire codes and shall include the appropriate light bulb spares and wiring extensions to support multiple configurations. Carpeting/Padding: Carpeting and Padding options to support all reconfigurable options must be included in system. Rotating Marquis/Fabric Canopies/Fabric Structures exhibit system must include at least (1) graphically supportable rotating marquis (for use on 20 x 20, 20 x 30 or 30 x 30), and multiple canopy or structure options. Spares - all parts considered to be consumable or easily lost must be identified as such and an adequate inventory (list) of spares must established and provided. Replacement Parts - All parts/components of the system must be able to be replaced within (2) working days if broken or lost within the standard warranty time limits. Training Complete training on all uses, configurations, operations, assembly, disassembly, maintenance, packing, and shipping is required prior to delivery or acceptance of system. A complete and comprehensive training manual or brief is required. It is the Governments requirement that the contractor must be within a 20 mile radius of Picatinny Arsenal, NJ for storage, training and service options.This effort requires a company that has a full service trade show booth manufacturer both locally and has international presence. Company must be ISO 14001 certified. Graphics Quality Fabric graphics must be supportable in the form of dye-sublimination using quality processes and industry standard or better fabrics. Future Expansion the display system must have an open architecture for future improvements and new styles of display technology. Customer Support - Graphics must have a (15) working day turnaround (delivery) after art proof approval on all display configuration sizes. Graphics must be easily installed when practicable. Easy assembly and disassembly instructions must accompany the display system for each configuration provided. Intuitive assembly/disassembly instructions must be reproducible by the US Army at no cost. The product must be assembled and disassembled using no more than one tool for assembly for any and all configurations of the modular exhibit structure to include all graphics, lighting, and storage compartments. All parts must be clearly labeled by part and packaging and water resistant labeling is required. Assembly of a 10 x 10 display must be accomplished by a 2-person team in under two hours. The modular exhibit and display system and all of its components must be packaged using commercially acceptable and professional-grade packing materials designed for repeated use and ease. The storage system must be organized, protective, lightweight, match or exceed industry norms for size and adhere to all standard freight dimensions and standards. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Firms with the capability of providing the above described Modular System should provide a summary of their companies abilities to provide such a system including a description of their facilities, personnel, and past performance to this requirement via email, no later than COB 27 August 2010.
