- General dimensions of SWCC dispatch office with rough workstation layout This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. AG-8371-S-10-0049 herein cited will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238390 with a small business size standard of $14.0 Million. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. USDA Forest Service, Southwestern Region, Southwest Region Coordination Center (SWCC) is seeking a contractor to design, supply and install 24 modular office workstations and two meeting areas per the attached drawing. Each space shall meet the requirements of ANSI/HFES 100-2007 Human Factors Engineering of Computer Workstations. Potential offerors may contact Kenan Jaycox 505-842-3473 kjaycox@fs.fed.us no later than 26 August 2010, to arrange a visit to obtain accurate measurements and enable preparation of design. Minimum requirements are as follows: Adjustable Height Workstations, Keyboard/Input Surface, and Monitor Surface adjustable for Sitting/Standing. Monitor and keyboard surfaces must each have separate electric adjustment. Adjustable console table shall have the ability to connect to a computer to be operated by Console Control Software. Kneespace shall be free of levers, controls, cantilevered keyboard support arms, and motor control boxes creating a smooth underside of the worksurfaces. All drawers to have full extension 100lb rated. Acoustical Panel System - Specified to provide for cable management, visual separation of tasks and both sound barrier and sound absorptive functions. Panel System will have ability to internally run cabling, keeping the cabling clean and organized. CPU enclosures shall be available in sizes to accommodate mini-tower cases up to 8" wide x 18" high and be available up to 6 unit capacity. CPU enclosures shall be a minimum of 29" deep (deeper is preferred) in order to accommodate CPUs and cabling. CPU's shall sit on full extension slide out shelves to allow easy access to back of CPU's. Furniture shall meet all EPA Green Requirements as specified at http://www.epa/gov/epawaste/conserve/tools/cpg/products/furniture.htm Offerors quote shall include: Firm fixed price to include any and all associated costs for design, furniture, shipping, installation and set-up. Final Drawing showing the final and accurate measurements and placement of each cubicle and desk. Brochures depicting the type of furniture proposed for installation; fabric swatches if different from brochure. References from prior clients for similar jobs with point of contact and phone number. GSA contract number if applicable.
