Description

Reference previously posted synopsis: solicitation number M6700410R0033. Blount Island Command has a requirement for non-commercial P&DS services with a one year base period, plus four one-year option periods. Tasks include logistics and software support in six main areas: Prepositioning Objective Tailoring, Planning Support, Technical Data, Logistics Automated System Support, Programming Support, and Software Enhancement. See the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for further details. The acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted, full and open competition basis using FAR Part 15. It is anticipated that the contract type will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF). This is not a Request for Proposal, but Market Research to gauge interest in the P&DS effort. Interested parties should submit capability statements to Harold Melton, Contract Specialist, no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, 26AUG10. Comments regarding the use of a CPFF contract type are also requested. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO and Federal Business Opportunities websites. No telephone or fax inquiries will be accepted. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement.
