- Description
- The Government has a commodities requirement for Hydraulic Metal Shear. This is a total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333513 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 3542. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are current to Fac 2005-43, Effective 02 August 2010. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT: 0001 - Betenbender model 10-375 or equivalent. Capacity/Thickness Mild Steel: 3/8". Blade Length: 124". Max Cut Length: 122-1/2". Number of Holddown points: 17. Rake Angle: 3/8" per rated capacity. Strokes per minute: 11. Motor: 20 HP US Made, 230/3/60. Oil resevoir: 75 gal. Machine weight: 21,500. Dimensions: 147-1/2" X 80" X 84". STANDARD SHEER EQUIPMENT: 36" Power Backguage w/ LED readout. 4' squaring arm w/inlaid scales (right side). Power adjustable Rake. Hour Meter. American Made Motors & Nema Electrics with Disconnect Switch. Hyd. Self Compensating Holddown Bar Assembly. Hi Chrome Knives/Four Cutting edges- TOP and BOTTOM. Light Beam Guage. 20HP Main Motor; 230 Volt/3/60. REQUIRED OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT: NC Control 5 Station GO TO Positioner. 48" Support Arms/Front Gauges, Inlaid scales, Disappearing stops. Solid Table top bolt on Segment. Neoprene Holddown Caps. One shot Lubrication. Flip ups on Squaring Arm Right Side. All equipment must comply with Buy America Act.
