Description

Sole Source Justification STAINLESS STEEL COMPARTMENT EXPOSURE CHAMBER CAGES: The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0276. The NAICS Code is 331222. The size standard is 1000. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Lab Products, Inc. The purchase is for twelve (12) Stainless Steel (32) Compartment Exposure Chamber Cages for rats and specifically required to match other laboratories' set-ups in order to replicate tests. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Kathy. Majors@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Kathy Majors, ASC/PKOBB, 937-656-1412, no later than 27 August 2010 at 11:00 a.m. (EST). Only proposals received by this date will be considered.
