Meggitt Training Systems, Inc 296 Brogdon Rd Suwanee, GA 30024-1247 The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Meggitt Training Systems, Inc., for Line Item 0001-0012: FATS Warranty. This award is restricted to Meggitt Training Systems, Inc. and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 333319 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 5.201. The Government believes that FATS Warranty is a patented and proprietary commercial product that can only be acquired through Meggitt Training Systems, Inc., and no other vendors are authorized to support the current FATS in place. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 12:00 PM (central), 23 Aug 2010. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a future competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-10-P-0122 in the amount of $30,204.00. A firm-fixed price order will be issued in writing. Anticipated award is 23 August 2010.
