- Description
- The United States Government seeks expressions of interest for leased office space consisting of approximately 402,305 contiguous rentable square feet of office space in Bethesda, MD. The space MUST yield 344,831 to 349,831 ANSI/BOMA Office area square feet. Parking for five (5) GOV spaces on site is required. Space must be available by August 4, 2011. Subleases are not acceptable. Space should not be located within the 100-year flood plain. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated boundaries: North - Halpine Road to Twinbrook Parkway; East - Viers Mill Road to Connecticut Avenue; West - East Jefferson Street, Rollins Avenue, Evelyn Drive, Montrose Road, Tildenwood Drive, Old Stage Road, Tilden Park, Tuckerman Lane, Interstate 270, Democracy Boulevard, Old Georgetown Road, Wisconsin Avenue; South - Bradley Lane. The proposed lease is for fifteen (15) years, fifteen (15) years firm; the Government may terminate this lease after the 15th year upon ninety (90) days written notice to the Lessor. The offered space must be fully-serviced, meet current Federal, GSA, Public Buildings Service, state, and local codes and regulations for Fire and Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, but not limited to OSHAA and seismic protection. Interested parties should provide building name and address, building ownership structure, rentable and usable square footage available, separate rental rates for fully serviced rentable and usable space built-out to a warm-lit, vanilla shell and a picture of the building. S ubmissions by other than the owner or exclusive agent of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.
