Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): ITSI-W912DY-08-D-0032, AEM-W912DY-08-D-0033, and JJKSP-W912DY-08-D-0034, RECOVERY -- THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The purpose of this project is for the replacement and reconstruction of three closure structures within the Wood River Levee System located in Madison County, Illinois. This levee system is located along the east bank of the Mississippi River, between river miles 195 and 203, above the Ohio River and is maintained by the Wood River Levee and Drainage District. The three reconstructed closure structures are in close proximity to Powder Mill Road and are adjacent to the East Fork of Wood River. Two of the structures are for closure of a common railroad track through the lines of protection along each bank of the East Fork (closure structures CS-10 on the north bank and CS-11 on the south bank). The other structure (CS-12) is a two lane roadway closure across Powder Mill Road on the south bank of the East Fork. The closure structures are within a publicly accessible area of the Olin-Winchester Corporation manufacturing facility in East Alton, IL. In accordance with Section 803 Evaluation Requirements, the evaluation consensus board (using the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP), determined Applied Energy Management as the best value contractor to perform the services.
