- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) G Department intends to procure on a non-competitive basis 9 GE Fanuc MAGIC 1 rugged display computers and 3 cable development kits from GE Fanuc 296 Concord Road, Suite 125, Billerica, MA 01821-3487. The resultant contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The required equipment has been tested and integrated into Government equipment. Any other ruggedized computer would need to undergo the same battery of test. The cost of the testing was approximately $385,000. This cost is not likely to be recuperated through competition. All items are to be priced FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423430 with a size standard of 100 employees. GE Fanuc is a large business under NAICS 423430. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
