Description
RFP NUM VA-248-10-RP-0433 TITLED: BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM.TRACER /HVAC- SAN JUAN, PONCE OPC. The following are the answers for the questions submitted by interested Contractors in relation to Solicitation mentioned above; QUESTIONS; 1.Number of panels to be inspected?. 2. Number of points of connections? 3. Frequency of the inspections?. 4. Is there any Stiker and/or document approved for such inspections?. 5. Who supplies the forms and stikers certifying that the inspections has been conducted or that repairs has been performes in the panels? 6. List or quantity of aproximate instruments failling per month, day or week ?. ANSWERS; 1.Total amount including Ponce are: BCU's: 15, UPCM's: 52, MP580/581: 38, WS desktop: 7, WS laptop: 1, Generic Lon Talk Device: 18. 2.Number of points and connections for San Juan were sent previously to you. See attachment for Ponce equipment. 3.System points shall be divided into quarterly inspections, and by year end all points shall be inspected. Then, an annual inspection of all points shall be performed that include field tests, calibration and adjustment. 4.At this time there is no approved sticker. Prior to start the contracted work, the contractor shall submit to the COTR a sample for approval. For bidding purposes, a sticker that can withstand the elements (outdoor, etc.) shall be enough. The sticker shall indicate the date of inspection, the due date for next inspection and the initials of the technician that performed the test. In addition, a summary report shall be submitted to VA indicating the devices tested, the tests performed, the results of such inspections and the person who performed the test. As a minimum requirement, the report shall clearly identify each device and control point by name, address number and description of the controlled variable. The report shall be submitted to the COTR for acceptance. Prior to start the contracted work, the contractor shall submit to the COTR a sample report for approval. 5.The contractor shall provide the stickers and reports as part of their contract. 6.See answer #3 above. Prior to start the contracted work, the contractor shall submit to the COTR an Inspection Schedule for approval.
