- RFQ Agency: Department of Commerce Office: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Location: National Marine Fisheries Service, Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is open to small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238210. Provide labor and material to connect electrical power to two new 12' x 44' office trailers which are scheduled to be installed the week beginning 9/26/10 at the Kewalo Research Facility located at 1125B Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI. Trailers have electrical panels, breakers, and 120 volt duplex receptacles already installed. One new 150 amp single phase 120/208 volt circuit breaker, enclosure, electrical connectors, junction boxes, and miscellaneous wiring & fittings are to be provided by vendor in order to complete electrical connection to the trailers. Existing underground electrical conduit and main power supply cable will be provided by NMFS. Job may require after hours (i.e., 5pm), to connect into existing 400 amp power supply circuit. Walk through will be provided upon request. All responses must be in writing and sent via email to Julie.Whitaker@noaa.gov or faxed attention to Julie Whitaker at (808) 983-2900. This is a simplified acquisition estimated value not to exceed $100,000.00. The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
