- Questions and Answers: Q1: Your requirement mentions that company should be operating business in state of Hawaii. Does this mean having a physical location with operating employees located in State of Hawaii or, registered as a business with Secretary of State, Hawaii ? I saw the posting for microfiche conversion services and read that the business can only be awarded to companies that operate in Hawaii. Does this mean the company needs to be located in Hawaii or just be able to do business in Hawaii? A1: The company must be able to do the work on Oahu, Hawaii since DAR-DLNR rules will not allow the microfiche to leave the island of Oahu.
