- Revised Request for Quote The Center for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a purchase order in order to procure services to revise and field test protocols and prevention counseling messages for HCV rapid tests. The Government is seeking two HIV testing sites that are not providing conventional HCV testing. The HIV testing sites may include syringe exchange programs, methadone maintenance treatment centers, STD clinics, correctional settings and other sites which provide services to persons at risk of hepatitis C (including persons who inject drugs, have had multiple sex partners, are HIV positive, or have otherwise been exposed to HCV). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 2010-Q-12759 and is issued as a request for quote, unless otherwise indicated herein. These service is being procured in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is unrestricted and all qualified offerors may submit quotes. INQUIRIES SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO THE ISSUING OFFICE.OFFERORS ARE INSTRUCTED SPECIFICALLY TO CONTACT ONLY THE CONTRACTING OFFICE IN CONNECTION WITH ANY ASPECT OF THIS REQUIREMENT PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD. PROPOSALS AND ALL CORRESPONDENCE RELATING TO THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICE. Inquiries should be received at the Contracting Office no later than August 24, 2010, via e-mail to SCunningham1@cdc.gov or mailed hard copy to the address shown as the issuing office on the cover sheet of the solicitation.
