Description
Synopsis: MQ-9 Reaper/Lynx Dual Beam RADAR Integration and Testing FA8620-10-G-3038-0012 MQ-9 Reaper/Lynx Dual Beam RADAR Integration and Testing: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The next generation Lynx RADAR designed for use on MQ-9 UAS. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Division intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the build, delivery and installation of Dual Beam kits converting Lynx Block 20 Radars, and complete all tasks required for production deliveries, integration into an MQ-9 Aircraft, and fielding Lynx Dual Beam Radars. In addition, this effort is to create Rev A drawings, develop production acceptance test package, and develop training materials and operations and maintenance updates. General Atomics-ASI is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the Predator/Reaper system, and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform these efforts. The government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is published to notify potential subcontractors that this is anticipated to be a new effort awarded on a sole-source basis. For subcontracting opportunities, interested parties may submit appropriate information via email to Jean.valentine@ga-asi.com at General Atomics-ASI, Poway, CA.
