Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Procurement Branch intends to issue a Purchase Order on a sole source basis with 233 Broadcast LLC. 233 Broadcast LLC tower is the only tower in downtown Chicago, IL that provides sufficient coverage (Chicago/Indiana) for our 2 way communication radio system. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements of this Solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date on or about September 30, 2010.
