- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43 (2 August 2010). The requisition number W12L2Q0194C001 is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is a total set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333293 which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. Contract Line items CLIN0001 Qty 1 31.5 inch Paper Cutter, BaumCut 31.5" or equal. To be considered an equal product, a paper cutter must have similar nominal dimensions as listed below. Submittal requirements: Offerors shall submit quotations including information required by the applicable provisions which outline the following: 1. Pricing for each Priced CLIN 0001,0002,0003,0004, and 0005. 2. Quotations must also include completed representations and certifications in the provisions 52.212-3 Alt. I and 252.212-7000, except that 252.212-7000 need not be filled out if the offeror has completed the pertinent representations and certifications in Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov within the past 12 months. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of information furnished by the Offeror and submitted with the quote. The information called for is essential in determining whether or not the equipment being offered meets the salient characteristics of the Request for Quotation (RFQ). Failure to submit the required information may preclude consideration of the Offer for purchase. Each Offeror shall submit manufacturer's data, description material or other information on the equipment to be furnished under this RFQ. This acquisition will be awarded utilizing FAR Part 13 procedures. Evaluation factors include technical acceptability, past performance and price. Offers are due to the contracting office no later than August 27, 2010 at 12:00 PM EST.
