This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912L2-10-T-0024 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42. The associated NAICS codes is 337215, small business size 500 Employees. COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: Scope Of Work For High Density Storage At the following locations: AASF#1, Papago Military Reservation, Phoenix, AZ 85008 AND AASF#2, Silver Bell Army Heliport, Marana, Arizona 85653-9598 LINE ITEM 1: Location: AASF#1, Papago Military Reservation, Phoenix, AZ 85008 Area: 25 x 18 Number of Shelves: 6 163 L x 32 W x 85 H This High Density Storage solution is needed for the storage of high dollar aircraft parts. The current footprint and existing shelving at the AASF technical supply shop is small and inadequate. Our requirements to store aircraft parts have increased by 33% due to the number of aircraft the AASF maintains. Our fleet has increased from 18 to 24 aircraft. In addition, we are now supporting all S&S aircraft, a completely different (MDS) mission, design, and series of aircraft. This new support requirement, by regulation, requires the AASF technical supply shop to segregate aircraft parts by MDS, which has increased the amount of storage space needed. HIGH DENSITY STORAGE - GENERAL SPECIFICATION REQUIRING THE FOLLOWING NON-PROPIETARY SPECIFICATIONS WILL ENSURE PURCHASE OF HIGH DENSITY STORAGE SYSTEMS BUILT TO SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND DURABILITY STANDARDS *INIDICATES UNNACCEPTABLE PRODUCT OFFERING RAILS: It is suggested that rails are constructed of one piece of structural steel.
