- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Sperry Marine, 6608 Sun Scope Dr. Ocean Springs, MS 39564-8608, to arrange the training to meet the requirements of Fleet personnel to properly trouble shoot and maintain the Sperry Marine Bridge Master E Radar utilized on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) craft. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. Sperry Marine is the original equipment manufacturer of the Radar system used in the LCAC C4N system. As such, they are the only existing entity to accomplish this requirement. Sperry Marine has a proven record of accomplishment and provided the same training 3 years ago. Sperry Marine is the only manufacturer that meets these requirements without extensive development of courseware and associated training aids for this urgent requirement. Anticipated award date will be on or about September 21, 2010. Delivery will be to the Receiving Office, Naval Support Activity-Panama City (NSA-PC) 110 Vernon Ave, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 541330 applies. SBA Size Standard is $4.5M. FSC is U006.
