Description

Amendment 1: The following questions/answers and notes from the site visit on 08/18/2010 are hereby incorporated into RFQ 10HQQQ0142. Questions and Answer from site visit on 08/18/2010Project Name: Visitor's Entrance RFQ 10HQQQ0142 Project Number: DC-122 (10) QUESTIONS AND ANSWERSQuestion 1: How should the contractor run the electrical power lines to operate the automatic door opener on the outside of the door entrance?Answer 1: Run the power lines as the other ramps power lines were done which is located on the other side of the Visitor's Entrance. Question 2: Is a permit needed from Fairfax County for the detour of employees into the visitor's entrance?Answer 2: The contractor does not need to get a permit for detouring employees into the building. However, they shall submit a design document to be reviewed by the Fire protection Engineers. NOTES/ADDITIONAL TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK-The ramp shall begin 24" off the concrete column and be 24' long. -The connection to the manhole needs to be under ground.-For running of the electrical there are available man holes in the ceilings to do so. -Contractor shall provide "Annapolis Smart Bollard" or equal for the bollard lighting. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
