- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound intends to issue a modification to an existing firm, fixed price, requirements type contract N00406-10-D-1019, awarded to Curtiss Wright Electro-Mechanical Corp, Cheswick, PA, on 12 March 2010, using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed modification is for additional refurbishment services to be performed on the Advanced Secondary Propulsion Units. Based on market research, Curtiss Wright, the original equipment manufacturer, is the only company that can fulfill the additional requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested companies may submit their interest to the modification requirement by August 27, 2010.
