Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of a Service Contract w/ the following CLINS: Metal/Wood Processing and Recycling W911S6-10-T-0046 -0001 Qty = 8 each TONS - Wood Material Recycling. Firm Fixed Price. This CLIN is for the shredding of materials made of wood products. This shall include but not be limited to: Pallets, Boxes, Lumber, Furniture, etc. Wood material is located at the Dugway Proving Ground Landfill, Dugway, Utah 84022. Contractor shall provide quote for price per ton. The estimated amount of wood to be shredded is eight (8) tons. Please enter a quote for the unit price for each ton. Price per ton shall include, but not be limited to: all shipping, mileage, travel, lodging, general and administrative, etc. SEE SCOPE OF WORK. Shredded wood product shall remain at DPG Landfill. PLEASE BID HERE $____________________ PER TON. -0002 Qty = 15 TONS - Small Arms Casings. Firm Fixed Price. Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) has an estimated quantity of 15 tons of brass demilitrarized small-arms casings. These casings are located at the CARR facility at DPG. CARR Facility is located approximately 2 miles southeast of the DITTO Facility (SEE MAP, PAGE 13, M-CARR FACILITY in attached visitors packet to DPG). SEE SCOPE OF WORK. PLEASE QUOTE A PRICE PER TON. Price per ton shall include, but not be limited to: all shipping, mileage, travel, lodging, general and administrative, etc. The Government shall retain all shredded brass products. PLEASE BID HERE $____________________PER TON. -0003 Metal Scrap Processing. Firm Fixed Price. Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) has an estimated quantity of 66 tons of non-brass metal in the form of scrap and whole items. Metal items/scrap are located at the CARR facility at DPG. CARR Facility is located approximately 2 miles southeast of the DITTO Facility (SEE MAP, PAGE 13, M-CARR FACILITY in attached visitors packet to DPG). SEE SCOPE OF WORK. PLEASE QUOTE A PRICE PER TON. Price per ton shall include, but not be limited to: all shipping, mileage, travel, lodging, general and administrative, etc. The shredded/processed metal shall be transported to the metal recycling facility with highest rate of scrap payment.
