Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. In an effort to conduct additional market research, the Fort Hood, TX Directorate of Contracting is requesting information from certified Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) firms in accordance with 13 C.F.R. 124.501. The announcement is issued to offer a select number (at the Governments discretion) of 8(a) firms an opportunity to present their companies capabilities to the Government. The 8(a) firms must be capable of performing work as described below and as associated with the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611430, Professional and Management Development Training (Size Standard $7.0 Mil). Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Therefore, the Government will not reimburse any cost incurred to prepare for, travel to, or present a capabilities briefing. All costs with this effort will be the responsibility of the company and/or interested parties. The demonstration of items or services will in no way, expressed or implied, obligate the Government to purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire the items and/or services demonstrated, displayed or furnished. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contracting Officer, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The 8(a) firms capabilities must demonstrate success in performing non-personal services for a Civilian Leadership Development Program of similar type and complexity as that described below. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to provide certified instructors and training materials for a professional Civilian Leadership level training program that consists of Future Leaders courses for 20-25 students and Established Supervisors courses for 15-20 students (with emphasis on corporate and Federal level audiences). The two parts consist of a total of seven classes. The place of performance will be at Fort Hood Texas. The program is conducted quarterly and the classes are reoccurring and will require the flexibility for students to make-up courses and classes. The Government will provide the training facility and \necessary equipment (e.g., smart board, computer, internet access); however, the contractor will be required to provide all printed learning materials. The description of classes is as follows: 1.Customer Service for Employees (Future Leader and Supervisor): 3 - one day classes. 2.Customer Service for Supervisory (Supervisor): 1 day class (4 hours). 3.Effective Communication (Future Leader): 1 one day class. 4.Trust Factor (Future Leader): 1 one day class. 5.Management Development Workshop for Leaders 6.High Performance Leadership (Supervisor): 1 two day class 7.Coaching Series (Supervisor): 1 two day class. In some cases, course material will need to be developed. The developed material will be the property of the United States Army and specifically the Fort Hood Human Resources Directorate. Interested SBA certified 8(a) business firms that are qualified and registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) under NAICS 611430 are encouraged to submit a capabilities package of no more than 10 pages total. Include information relative to past performance and/or experience similar to providing Civilian Leadership Development Program instruction. Information should be relevant and sufficient enough to support the contractors ability to perform. Include references, contact numbers, dollar values, scope of services provided under those contracts, and indicate whether the reference is from a Government or a Commercial type contract. Provide your company's name, as listed in the CCR, CAGE code, DUNS, Tax ID Number (TIN), address, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address. Suggestions can be provided to maximize the effectiveness of a training program. Capability information must be submitted via email to the following personnel no-later-than 4:30 p.m. on 7 September 2010.
