Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) # F4D3D90201AG01. Submit written offers. Oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 and DFARS Change Notice 20100816. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 238910 and Size Standard $14M apply to this procurement. Project Number: F4D3D90201AG01 Project Title: Demolition of Building 11447 1. Quote shall conform to the CLIN structure as established in this synopsis/solicitation. A quote template is available upon request. 2. Quotes shall be valid for 30 days after close of solicitation. 3. All questions or comments must be provided to the Contract Specialist in writing; telephone and other means of oral communication will not be permitted. The Contract Specialist is Jessica Nelson, Jessica.Nelson@vandenberg.af.mil, The contract will be Firm Fixed Price with the following structure: Include a complete breakdown of all costs: CLIN 0001 Remove Building 11447 down to concrete 1 EA CLIN 0002 Remove additional connection boxes and all debris 1 EA The following Clauses apply to this award: 52.204-9 Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items Addendum: 1. The contractor shall submit a capabilities statement 2. Contractor must submit three year history of performing similar projects 3. A proposed schedule shall be submitted. 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Addendum: The proposal shall be evaluated based on Technical acceptability and price. Technical Acceptability and Price, when combined, are Equal. However, quotes which are not rated as technically acceptable will be eliminated from the competition and will receive no further consideration. 1. Proposals timely received will be evaluated and an award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror who responds to all items included in the solicitation (all or none) and complies with the terms of the Request for Quote (RFQ). Technical Areas that will be evaluated: a. Demonstration of the company's capabilities listing out their qualifications in performing demolition and clean-up work. b. Company's three year history of similar projects (providing history of work that is not similar will not be sufficient for this requirement.) c. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. (End of Provision) Contractors interested in attending the site visit must contact Jessica Nelson at jessica.nelson@vandenberg.af.mil No later than Tuesday August 24 4:00pm, contractors must supply the names of the individuals wishing to attend the site visit, their driver's license number, and date of birth.
