Description

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration, has a requirement for overhaul of Stores Crane on the STATE OF MICHIGAN VESSEL and which is currently located at Traverse City, MI The Crane is an Allied Marine Crane model TB 9-37, 12,000lb cap. This procurement is full and open. NAIC 811310. The offerors shall provide all labor and material including transport services of the vessel to contractor's facility, or if can repair at Traverse City then disregard. The competitive solicitation along with technical data will be available by electronic posting within the next 5 days and may be found at https://www.fbo.gov/ or http://ideasec.nbc.gov no earlier than Aug 27, 2010. Solicitation No. DTMA4Q10059. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the MARAD.A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Offerors will be required to be submitted electronically. Effective January 1, 2005, bidders are to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network (BPN) Website at http://orca.bpn.gov. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
