- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 332999 and business size is 500 employees. The 162FW Arizona Air National Guard has a requirement to purchase one GSA approved modular vault which meets Federal Standard 2737. A second modular vault may be added contingent upon funding. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items and services necessary to deliver and install a vault located at 1500 E. Valencia Rd, Tucson, AZ 85706. The specifications are as follows: 1. Vault must meet Federal Standard 2737 2. Vault will be 5-sided (no floor) and constructed with light weight GSA AA-V-2737 Type I material 3. Must be built to the following interior dimensions: 56 wide, 90 long, 90 tall 4. Vault door must conform to Fed Spec AA-D-600D, Class 5-V, Type IIR 5. Door will be mounded on 56 wide end 6. No day gate required due to space limitations 7. Must include interior light and provisioning to connect to facility power (277VAC. 60HZ) Note: Access to the room is through a double door with opening dimensions 81 high x 70 wide. The room ceiling is 108 high with obstructions at 96 above the floor. If a site visit is requested, it will occur on 30 August 2010 at 0900 Mountain Standard Time (MST) Arizona. Offerors are urged to inspect the site where the asset is to be installed to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. This is a best value acquisition. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the government. Questions must be submitted no later than 3:00pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) Arizona, 31 August 2010. Terms of the solicitation and specification remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing.
