Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W9115U-10-T-0014 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 722320, with a small business size standard of $7 million. This solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-43, effective August 02, 2010. It is the Governments intent to solicit this requirement as Full and Open Competition. In accordance with FAR Part 19.502.2(a) this acquisition shall be solicited on an unrestricted basis. This solicitation serves as a Request for Quotations for meals in the Dugway, Utah area. This RFQ is to provide hot breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch meals to 26 personnel beginning 8 September, 2010 and ending 8 October, 2010 as outlined in the schedule below. The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including options(s), if applicable): CLIN0001, Breakfast Meals on 8-14 Sep, 16-17 Sep, 20 Sep, 27 Sep, 2 Oct, 4-8 Oct provide 26 meals each day at the location between the hours of 0600-0730. 15 Sep, 21-24 Sep, 28 Sep-1 Oct deliver 26 meals each day to the Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT at 0600. 26 meals daily x 26 days = 676 meals. CLIN0002, Lunch Meals on 8 Sep, 12 Sep, 20 Sep, 27 Sep, 5-8 Oct provide 26 meals each day at the Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between the hours of 1130 and 1300. 9-11 Sep, 13-17 Sep, 21-24 Sep, 28 Sep-2 Oct deliver 26 meals each day to the Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT at 1130. Containers will be retrieved when the next meals are delivered. 26 meals x 25 days = 650 meals. CLIN0003, Dinner Meals on 8-11 Sep provide 26 meals at Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between the hours of 1900-2000; 13 Sep, 15-17 Sep, provide 26 meals each day at Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between 1830-1930; 27 Sep provide 26 meals at the Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between the hours of 1630-1730; 2 Oct, 4-8 Oct provide 26 meals each day at the Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between the hours of 1730 to 1900. 12 Sep, 14 Sep, 20-24 Sep, 28 Sep-1 Oct deliver 26 meals each day to the Ditto Dining area Dugway Proving Grounds UT at 1730. 26 meals x 26 days = 676 meals. CLIN0004, Brunch Meals on 18 Sep, 25 Sep provide 26 meals at the Ditto Dining area at Dugway Proving Grounds UT between the hours of 1000 to 1300. 26 meals x 2 days = 52 meals. CLIN0005, Meal Deliveries on 9-11 Sep, 16-17 Sep, 2 Oct deliver lunch meals; 12 Sep, 20 Sep deliver dinner meals; 14 Sep lunch and dinner meals; 15 Sep deliver breakfast and lunch meals; 21-24 Sep, 28 Sep-1 Oct deliver breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Total of 37 deliveries. Containers will be retrieved every time when the next meals are delivered. The offeror shall provide to 26 warfighters, 26 hot breakfast meals during 26 days, 26 lunch meals during 25 days, 26 dinner meals during 26 days, 26 brunch meals during 2 days at the location Dugway Proving, UT. The offeror shall deliver meals twice daily to the locations, on the dates and times outlined above. The offeror shall have access to Dugway Proving Ground Military Complex at the time of award. The offeror shall have delivery capability to the Dugway Ditto Dining Area utilizing secondary roads. The offeror shall possess equipment capable of keeping hot foods above 140*F and cold foods below 40*F while in transport and upon delivery to Dugway Proving Ground, UT. Lunch/ dinner meals shall at a minimum consist of one (1) meat hot entre (examples include pork, chicken or beef), one (1) hot starch (examples include grains, potatoes or noodles), one (1) hot vegetable (examples include peas, beans, cabbage), one (1) dessert and assorted cold beverages (examples include juice, punch, cool-aid). Deliver hot foods in insulated food carrying containers with a minimal internal temperature of 140* F or above. Deliver cold beverages in insulated beverage containers at a minimal internal temperature of 40*F or below. Food/ beverages shall be transported in and served from containers capable of maintaining the before mentioned Internal temperatures upon arrival at feeding location. Offer shall include disposable plates, cups, flatware, condiments for each meal and adequate serving utensils. Award will be made on the basis of lowest price.
