- NSN 1R-1680-015446605-V2, IAW REF NR 2210547-1, QTY 4 EA, DELIVERY FOBORIGIN, ISSUE TO HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC, TEMPE, AZ 85285-2896. This noticeof intent is not a request for competitive quotes and the proposed/contractaction is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiatewith only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest andcapability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Quotes received priorto the award date will be considered by the Government.A determination by theGovernment not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to thisnotice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether toconduct a competitive procurement.This part requires engineering source approvalby the design control activityin order to maintain the quality of the part.Existing unique designcapability, engineering skills, and manufacturingknowledge by the qualifiedsource(s) require acquisition of the part from theapproved source(s). Theapproved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturingknowledge, or technicaldata that are not economically available to theGovernment, and the data orknowledge is essential to maintaining the quality ofthe part. An alternatesource must qualify in accordance with the design controlactivity'sprocedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineeringactivity. Thequalification procedures must be approved by the Governmentengineeringactivity having jurisdiction over the part in the intendedapplication.This requirement calls for the procurement of an item whereHoneywell International Inc is the only approved source. -SEE NOTES 9, 26
