Description
TO PROCURE Qty of one Scanning Microwave Microscopy (SMM) Mode for Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This Agilent SMM is compatible with the Agilent 5400 and 5600LS Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) systems, which currently own by AFRL/RXPS.. SIC Code 3825, NAICS Code 334515, Size Standard 500 Employees. This is a Sole Source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Agilent Technologies, Inc., 9780 S. Meridian Blvd., Englewood, CO. 80112. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. "An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
