This is a.pdf version of the request for information added for easier reading. This request is for informational purposes ONLY and will NOT result in any contractual awards. This request for information is for market research purposes. The requested labor rates should be general CONUS rates and should include the IFF. Please identify the labor category number and title, as listed in this request, in which you are responding to, even if the labor category your company uses differs in title. In order for this market research to best serve this office, please be sure the categories you're representing in your response have like or similar experience, responsibilities, and education requirements. LABOR CATEGORY 1: SOFTWARE ENGINEER I Minimum/General Experience: 1 year Functional Responsibility: Under supervision, writes code and conducts software development in accordance with program standards and under the direction of more senior Software Engineers, including but not limited to the following. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Provides technical support to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met. Researches and designs computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development. Architecture duties may include research and report system requirements. Analyze the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open system architectures and profiles of standards. Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree LABOR CATEGORY 2: SOFTWARE ENGINEER III Minimum/General Experience: 5 years Functional Responsibility: Duties include but are not limited to the following. Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Provides technical direction to junior Software Engineers to ensure program deadlines are met. Researches, designs, and develops computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
