***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is September 9, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Project area is located in Lane County on the Willamette National Forest. The Government's Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This proposed procurement listed herein is Unrestricted Competition per FAR 19.10 The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Estimated start work date is October 4, 2010. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, contact Mario Isaias-Vera, at the Siuslaw National Forest: 541-750-7083 or email: maisaias-vera@fs.fed.us. Estimated date quotes will be due: September 21, 2010. Description: Work includes: This project consists of drilling a potable water well approximately 200 to 250 feet below the ground, 6 inch casing, including development and test pumping, all materials, labor, and incidentals. The drilling contractor shall be a licensed well driller certified in the State of Oregon at the time of the quote. Location: Waldo Lake is located in Lane County at an elevation of 5,414 feet above sea level. Access to site is via Forest Service Road 5897 from Oregon Route 58, approximately 18 miles east of Oakridge. Directions: Travel on Hwy 58 until mile post 59. Turn on Waldo Lake Road and travel for approximadetly 12.5 miles. Turn left toward Islet Campground and travel for about 0.5 miles; turn left towards a non-paved road. There is a gate with a Forest Service lock. After the gate travel another 0.2 miles to pumphouse. The well will be drilled approximately 20 feet away from existing pumphouse. Forest Service Gate will be opened by the CO or his/her representative.
