- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Sonic Anemometers (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NRMJ2000-10-22350. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial items: CLIN 0001 Qty 2 Brand Name or Equal to Gill WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer. CLIN 0002 Qty 2 Transport case for WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer. CLIN 0003 Qty 2 15 Meter Cable Lead Set for WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer (VI) Description of requirements is as follows: CLIN 0001 Qty 2 Brand Name or Equal to Gill WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer with flange mount (stainless steel design). Including mating connector and manual, and these salient characteristics: Wind Speed Range 0-65m/s Accuracy <1.5% RMS @ 12m/s Resolution 0.01m/s Wind Direction Range0-359º Accuracy2º @ 12m/s Resolution 0.1º Sonic Temperature Range -40ºC to +70ºC Resolution 0.01ºC Measurement Internal Sample Rate 20Hz Output Parameters 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 16, 20 Hz Formats UVW, Polar, NMEA Averaging Flexible 0-3600 s Digital Output Communication RS232, 422, 485 Baud Rates 2400 - 115200 12 or 14 bit 3-axis CLIN 0002 Qty 2 Transport case for WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer. CLIN 0003 Qty 2 15 Meter Cable Lead Set for WindMaster Pro Sonic Anemometer (VII) Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Required delivery 30 days ARO. Place of delivery is 325 Broadway, Bldg 22, Boulder, CO 80305-3328. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Jun 2008), applies to this acquisition. In addition to written price quotes, offers are instructed to provide the brand name of an "equal" product, including manufacturer and model number. (IX) Offers will be evaluated solely on price, on an all or none basis.
