- Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR Radiosondes with the following specifications. Transmitter Type: Digitally Synthesized Frequency Range: 400 to 406 MHz Frequency Stability, 90% Probability: In Accordance with EN302054V1.1.1 Deviation, Peak-to-Peak: 5 kHz Emission Bandwidth: In Accordance with EN302054V1.1.1 Output Power: 63 mW (nominal) Modulation: GFSK Data Downlink: 4800 Baud, Digital Operator Selectable Frequencies: Sixteen (16); Nominally 125 kHz Steps; Set by Switch. Sampling Rate All parameters once per second. Power Source Lithium battery pack; suitable for 130 minutes of operation. Sensor Calibration Polynomial coefficients resident in sonde EEPROM are transmitted continuously in digital data-stream. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Lockheed Martin Sippican, Inc., 7 Barnabas Rd., Marion, MA 02738. The Sole Source purchase will be for 180 Radiosondes, Part Number 1848-611 LMS6 GPS Sondes. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide radiosondes matching the above specifications.
