- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of River Protection (ORP) plans to contract by means other than full and open competition. DOE ORP plans to award a sole source contract to Peter Furlong Consulting physically located in Kennewick, WA 99338. Mr. Furlong will provide technical support and expertise to DOE Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Program and Project Office (WPD) division as it relates to the Bechtel National Inc. (BNI) project controls and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes. DOE ORP has determined that this requirement can only be satisfied by unique services that are only available from Peter Furlong. Peter Furlong Consulting is the only firm that is uniquely capable of providing consulting services to support reviews of the Bechtel National Inc project controls and EVM systems beginning August 2010. Due to the unique nature of this requirement, DOE ORP does not know of, and has not solicited other sources. The estimated cost of this procurement is estimated to be $110,000.
