- This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive UNRESTRICTED, Invitation for Bids (IFB). This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z299, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $20,000,000. All questions should be directed to the Contracting Specialist, Mei Lee, at (415) 503-6520, FAX: No.: (415) 503-6694, e-mail Mei.Lee@usace.army.mil. Estimated Cost Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. SITE CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTION OF WORK As shown on sheet # 1, work shall commence at the project's steelhead trout egg taking facility. The said home will serve as employee housing during facility operation. The egg taking facility is typically operated from November through April during the seasonal fish run. The contractor shall provide a one bedroom, one bath pre-manufactured house, 13'-4" x 40'-0" (approx. 533 sq. ft.). At a minimum, pre-manufactured home proposals shall include a living room, kitchen with small dining area, laundry room, central heat, fully equipped bathroom with tub, and a bedroom with a closet. Windows shall be provided throughout the home. See the attached plans for an acceptable house design. All applicable utilities are located at the egg taking facility's office building as shown on Sheet 1. The solicitation will be available on/about 09 August 2010, for Viewing/downloading documents. All BIDS will be due on/about 23 August 2010/1:00 pm PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the IFB documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions. The following information will be required: Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN); DUNS Number or Cage Code; Telephone Number; and E-mail Address. Once registered with FedBizOpps, interested parties will then be able to log in and access the IFB documents. IMPORTANT NOTE: Solicitation documents can be accessed ONLY through FedBizOpps.
