- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, is seeking potential firms that have the capability to replace the 180,000 square foot roof on the Powerhouse at The Dalles Lock and Dam. The attached scope of work provides additional details. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160, which has a size standard of $14,000,000.00 in average annual receipts. The magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This is not a request for proposals. The intent of this notice is to determine the extent of industry interest and ability to handle a roof replacement project of this scope. A brief overview of the firms capabilities including experience on similar projects and any socio-economic classification information is appreciated. Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. The response to this notice shall be in summary format and shall not exceed a single page. Please submit your reply via email to jeff.s.renner@usace.army.mil. This announcement is for planning purposes only, however, should a request for proposal be issued in the future, it will carry this solicitation number. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this sources sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of comments.
