RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY, 3301 COLLEGE UNIVERSITY, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33314-7796 UNDER CONTRACT N0, WC133F-08-CQ-0057 AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY, INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR INVERTEBRATE FISH STUDIES AS A TASK ORDER ISSUED UNDER THE CONTRACT. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), posts this notice of intent to issue a negotiated task order against Contract Number WC133F-08-CQ-0057 with NOVA Southeastern University of Florida. The estimated value of this action is $158,000.00. This action is for the Role of Salinity in Transport, Settlement, and Acclimation of Pink Shrimp; Salinity Preferences of Epifauna along the South Biscayne Bay Shoreline; Sampling Design Optimization and Food Habits Analysis for Florida Bay Juvenile Spotted Seatrout; and species richness, biomass and distribution of Macro algae along the South Biscayne Bay Shoreline. This acquisition will result in a firm fixed price task order. This notice is for full disclosure compliance. No competitive solicitation package is available, and no proposals will be accepted from any source other than NOVA Southeastern University, 3301 College Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
