- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of small businesses capable of providing up to 60 rooms/units (lodging) within 15 minutes drive of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Main Gate for a period of performance extending from approximately 24 October through 17 December and then 2 January through 28 February. Interested firms are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 3:00 pm PDT, 17 August 2010, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The Government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the above-described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or if full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information. Interested parties should send all capability statements via email to joshua.c.carter@navy.mil.
