Description
Tentative Performance Work Statement Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. ACC AMIC is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Negative replies are also sought. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the government. The Air Combat Command Acquisition and Management Integration Center, (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to convert Global Expeditionary Medical System, [GEMS 4.0 (MS SQL 2000)] data to Global expeditionary Medical System 3.0 [GEMS 3.0 (MS SQL 2000)]. Once all data, including classified data is consolidated into one database (SQL Server 2000), it will then be converted/upsized to the MS SQL Server 2005. Contractor must: 1) Convert GEMS 4.0 (MS SQL 2000) data to GEMS 3.0 (MS SQL 2000) 2) Consolidate all the GEMS data; de-duplicate the combined GEMS 3.0 data 3) Provide export features for moving the consolidated database GEMS 3.0 into MS SQL Server 2005 and exporting it as a set of delimited text files 4) Provide scripting tool for future re-use to perform the above tasks 5) Assist with declassifying data and provide counts on the number of medical records, and the types of patients. Counts on occupational health verses environmental health. Counts on incomplete records. Secret-level security clearance will be required. 6) Train at least one personel on use of all script 7) Provide programming support to develop scripts for importing the consolidated GEMS 3.0 database into MS SQL Server 2005. 8) Provide programming support to develop scripts to export the consolidated GEMS 3.0 database into MS SQL Server 2005 as appropriate for statistical analysis For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services and the small business size standard is $25,000,000. If your firm is capable of requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Ms. Lynell Cosson, lynell.cosson@langley.af.mil by 13 August 2010 @1600 (EST). The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. It must also address items 1 - 8 as listed above. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (3) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts (4) GSA # if applicable (5) Request comments on draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available.
