Description

The purpose of this announcement is to inform all interested parties that this solicitation number has changed from TBD to 30181AQ465. PROJECT TITLE: ASPHALT PARKING LOT AND TRAIL AT TWO RIVERS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Fish and Wildlife Service requires construction services to construct an asphalt parking lot and trail at the Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge located near Brussels, IL. The general scope of work includes but is not limited to the installation of asphalt pavement, asphalt trail, and other associated work at the Two Rivers NWR. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $33.5M. The Request for Quotation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http:///www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 18, 2010 with quotations due on or around September 17, 2010. The Request for Quotation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Request for Quotation Package before submitting your Quote. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate documents to submit a competitive Quotation.
