- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Sole Source requirement to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), 1100 13th Street, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, DC 20005. This procurement provides for services and material to contract with an external agency to assess the MHS Patient-Centered Medical Home program using a structured, nationally recognized methodology. The intent is to evaluate the program against industry recognized evidence based standards that emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care management processes. Validation of the implementation of medical home concepts will support the MHS in obtaining maximum benefit for this care redesign initiative. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR 6.302; Only one responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This Synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Point of Contact for this action is Courtney Hunt.
