- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F1A3A70200A002. The solicitation document; incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43 The North American Industry Classification System code is 337124 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100 percent set-aside for small business. LINE ITEM 0001: Epoxy Powder Coated Crib, Description: 24X36, Epoxy Powder Coated Crib, Colors: TBD. MFR: Hard Manufacturing or "OR EQUAL"; QUANTITY: 36, UNIT PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; EXTENDED PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; LINE ITEM 0002: 3" Foam Sleepsafe Mattress, Description: 22 X 35 3" foam mattress, MFR: Hard Manufacturing or "OR EQUAL"; QUANTITY: 36, UNIT PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; EXTENDED PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; LINE ITEM 0003: 5" Evac Casters, Description: 5" Evac Casters (Set of 4) for 24X36 Crib, MFR: Hard Manufacturing or "OR EQUAL"; QUANTITY: 6 sets, UNIT PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; EXTENDED PRICE tiny_mce_marker___________; INSPECTION CONDITIONS AND TERMS : Items shall be priced FOB Destination. Delivery/Acceptance will be at Tinker St., Bldg 4456, Bolling AFB, Washington, DC 20032-0202. FAR PROVISIONS: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and Addendum to FAR CLAUSE 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition are as follows: 52.219-1, 52.233-2, 52.252-1 http://farsite.hill.af.mil, 52.252-5: (b) DFARS (Chapter 2), and 252.225-7000. "THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT REIMBURSE ANY EXPENSES INCURRED TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS FOR RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. NOTICE TO OFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The Government will select the best overall offer based on price and other factors considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government in accordance with the requirement. Only those offerors determined to be in compliance with the requirements as stated in this solicitation will be considered for award. If offering an equal product, interested parties must submit clear and convincing descriptive literature demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above. Non-conformance with this requirement may result in offeror's quote being determined unacceptable. FAR 52.212-3, "Offeror Representatives and Certifications-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition and offeror(s) must include, a completed copy with its offer. FAR CLAUSE 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (DEVIATION) including the following sub-clauses, 52.219-6, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, 52.233-3 and 52.233-4 apply to this acquisition. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
