- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, Hydroid, LLC to procure the following spare parts for the REMUS (Remote Environmental Measuring UnitS) 100 Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV): Battery Pack, Digital Transponder/Ranger, P/N 102450 (six each); Discharge Hub Box 110, P/N 150523-1, (one each); Power, Data Cable, P/N 101294 (five each); Weight, Keel Set, P/N 150015 (one each); and Buoy, Battery Pack, P/N/ 102235 (eight each). As Hydroid is the sole manufacturer of the REMUS 100 and its associated spare parts and hardware components, this purchase is not suitable for full and open competition. Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 336612 and the FSC Code is 5340. The SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. Delivery will be to the Naval Oceanographic Office, Mine Warfare Center, Receiving Officer, MSAAP, Building 9134, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529-5001. For eligibility firms need to register in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The contractor may not receive payment from the defense payment office without the contractor ™s establishment to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payment is based on the contractor ™s EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access this web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
