- DTFASO-11-R-00003 Janitorial Services (Birmingham, AL) The purpose of this requirement is to seek a qualified vendor to provide janitorial services at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and base building (approximately 15,000 square feet), in Birmingham, Alabama, per attached statement of work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720, Janitorial Services. All companies submitting a proposal must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package and all attachments can be found on the FAA Opportunities website at https://faaco.faa.gov. Click on Current Announcements and then select "Southern Region" for the By Region box. Site Visit is scheduled for Wednesday August 18, 2010 at 9:00 am (Central Daylight Time) at the facility. The FAA intends to award one (1) firm fixed price contract with a base period and four one-year options. Estimated start date for performance: October 1, 2010.
