- This is Sources Sought notice only. This notice is for information and planning purposes and not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for Market Research to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a) Hub-Zone and other interested Business concerns capable of performing this requirement. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073, requires a Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmacist service on as required basis for at least two days per week. The Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmacist must be a pharmacist minimally with two years experience in Radiopharmacy or an M.S. in Radiopharmacy. The degree program must have been approved by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), or prior to the establishment of ACPE, have been member of the American Association of College of Pharmacy (AACP). The Radiopharmacist is responsible of conducting comprehensive radiopharmaceutical activities and services in the Nuclear Medicine section of Imaging Service. The contract performance period will be for one year starting on or about September 01, 2010 through August 31, 2011, plus (4) one-year option periods. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621999 and size standard 10.0 Million. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors must be registered in the Central Registration (CCR) located on the website www.ccr.gov. Offeror must completed Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), https://orca.bpn.gov. Additionally, all Services Disabled/Veteran Owned Business or Veterans Owned Business must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Veterans Enterprise Vet Biz Registry located at http://vip.vet.gov. All interested concerns may submit their Company Name, Duns Number, Type of Business Concerns, and Statement of capability and qualifications of the organization to perform this requirement to the Contracting Officer.
