- Solicitation N00421-10-T-0356 is being issued as "Informational Purposes Only". Please see GSA E-Buy RFQ491307 for Request for Quote (RFQ). The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 511210 and small business standard size is $25.0M. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm. Anticipated Award Date: 01 Oct 2010 The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for: The firm fixed price contract line item numbers will be as follows: CLIN 0001 - P/N: VS4-ENT-P-SSS-GOV, VMWare vSphere Enterprise 1 Proc, QTY 28 CLIN 0002 - P/N: VS4-ENT-P-SSS-GOV, VMWare vSphere Enterprise 1 Proc, QTY 2 CLIN 0003 - P/N: VS4-ENT-P-SSS-GOV, VMWare vSphere Enterprise 1 Proc, QTY 72 The reason for the split CLINs are because there are two different customer numbers. Those numbers will be given once award has been made. NAWCAD intends to negotiate solely Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Carahsoft Inc., a small business for the purchase of VMware software. Ordering is de-centralized and It is the responsibility of the Ordering Officer to ensure compliance with all fiscal laws prior to issuing an order under this BPA, and to ensure that the vendor selected represents the best value for the requirement being ordered (see FAR 8.404). DoD Contractors are encouraged to use the ESI agreements when approved by their contracting officer in accordance with FAR 51. This BPA was competitively established under FAR Subpart 8.4 and posted on e-Buy; therefore, issuance of an order against the BPA does not require preparation and approval of a Limited Source Justification. Period of Performance is 01 Oct 2010 to 30 Sep 2011 NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER (PAX) --- RECEIVING OFFICER SUPPLY DEPARTMENT BLDG.665 SUITE 100 47179 VAUGHN RD PATUXENT RIVER MD 20670-1614 FOB: DESTINATION FAR Clause 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government solely for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement will consider all capabilities statements received. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis for this service based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
